         b) Checking of Attendance
         c) Review:
Class let’s have a review about lines.
            What is a vertical line?
            How about horizontal line?
Who can say something about a circumference line?
         d. Motivation:
Now , I will show you a video clip, but before that ,what
            should you do while watching?
            ( Showing Video clip)
What is the video clip all about?
            - What can you say about it?
      B. Presentation. (Powerpoint Presentation)
Now , base from the video clip, what do you think is our lesson
      for today?
Ok, Our Lesson for today is about Body Measurements, and
I’m going to show you how to take body measurements so that will
know how to measure also.
C. Lesson Proper:
   The Body Measurements are:
   1. Vertical
   2. Horizontal
   3. Circumferential
Do you know how to measure these?
How is vertical measurement taken? Please read (Rhea).
Vertical measurement is taken from the top going down.
Who can give an example of a vertical measurements?
Ok, these are the example of Vertical measurements.
                   Figure Front
                   Figure Back
                   Bust Height
                   Length of Blouse
VERY GOOD !!!
What about horizontal measurements, how it is taken Andrea?
Horizontal measurements are taken across the body or
taken from left going to the right.
Will you give an example of measurements that taken across the body
or taken from left going to right?
                   Shoulder
                   Bust distance
                   Chest ( front )
                   Chest ( back )
CORRECT !!!
Kindly read the 3rd Body Measurement, Ana.
Circumference measurement is taken around the body.
Who can give an example of circumference measurements?
                 Bust measurement
                 Waist measurement
Very Good !!!
Class, I am going to show you how to take the body measurements
properly and correctly.
What are you going to do is to observe properly.
Now, I will call one of you to be the model for body
measurement.
First, that I will going to demonstrate is how to take vertical
measurements
Following the procedures.

That is how to take the body measurements class.
Can you make it class?
Now we have a return demonstration.
May I call on Rhea, Andrea to be the models and Ana and Rose to
conduct the measuring procedure.
D. Generalization:
      - What did we learn today class? ( body measurement ma’am)
      - How do we measure vertical measurement?
What are the example of body measurement to be
        measured?
      - How about Horizontal Measurement?
What are the example of Horizontal body measurements to
        be measured?
      - And how about Circumference Measurement?
      - What are the example of Circumferential body measurement
        to be measured?
E. Values Integration:
(The teacher let the student to wear a small, and bigger
   clothes than them)
      - Class do you think it is good to see a person wearing a
clothes which is smaller or bigger than his/ her body? Why?
      - Class, is accurate measurement of our clothes important to
         us? Why?
      - If accurate measurement is very important to us, then what
         should you do?
     F. Application :
Ok, let me see if you can do now the activity accurately.
I will group you into 3.
Create your own video on how to take the different body
measurement. After 30 minutes you’re going to send me your finish
output on my email address (sallybarangan @ yahoo.com)
But before you measure your classmates I will remind you to respect
your classmate and be careful also in measuring. Understood class?
     Group work activity:
Group 1: Will do the Vertical Measurements
Group 2: Will do the Horizontal Measurements
Group 3: Will do the Circumferential Measurements
(The teacher supervised the students in measuring their classmates.)
IV. Evaluation:
        RUBRICS:
        Accuracy ------------------------------------------ 40 %
        Creativity------------------------------------------ 20%
        Speed ------------------------------------------ 10%
V. Assignment:
Measure your sister’s and mother’s blouse and bring the
           measurements tomorrow.
