competencies.
• To enhance students’ performance.
• To enhance students’ interest in mathematics and literacy
by using e games in answering math problems.
• Understand and critically appreciate various forms of
communication including spoken language, printed text, broadcast media, and digital media.
• Ability to use numbers, to add, subtract, multiply and
divide.
• Use mathematical understanding and skills to solve
problems and meet the demands of day-to-day living in complex social settings. On May 24, I created lessons and activities for my student. The topic I created was Literacy. This is Jenerahl Billena. A student in the fourth grade. He is an honor student with many dreams in life. This day, I went to my student’s house to teach him the lessons and activities I had done. Here, I saw his ability to read and write. Especially in doing essays. Today, I created lessons and activities about Numeracy because Numeracy is a socially based activity that requires the ability to integrate math and communication skills. Today, it is unfortunate because the lockdown has started due to the continuous increase of active cases here in our municipality. So, I decided to use social media platforms so that I can continue my teaching and I can teach my students even more. This day is our last day of class. It's sad because we didn't even meet this time. But through social media platforms, we became more productive, and we learned a lot as a teacher and as a student. I am thankful because in NSTP we have learned to teach school children in our area, and because of this, we have done our best that we will continue to do for our countrymen especially, in our country. I have enjoyed my student teaching experience despite all of its hardships and challenges. I found myself in very low points but also in very high points throughout this semester, but I can see how it has all grown me as a teacher, and I feel as though I can confidently walk into whatever classroom I will be teaching. I cannot believe that the time has come for my classroom; I can hardly wait!
