EXECUTIVE CAREER SUMMARY:
Executive Management Professional with 30 years experience in the information te
chnology industry. Fifteen years of my career was in senior technology managemen
t positions of which 10 years were at the CIO/CTO or Divisional CIO level. The s
ize of my teams ranged from 10 to over 200 people. I currently support six lines
of business at PNC Global Investment Servicing (?PNCGIS?). These businesses rep
resent close to 50% of PNCGIS? net income and are comprised of approximately $1.
5 trillion of market valued assets.
The primary areas of focus throughout my career are in business/IT change manage
ment, strategy, architecture, mergers, risk mitigation and management, and Desig
n/Development of complex systems. This also includes leading and directing all a
spects of infrastructure, business continuity, audits with the regulators and wo
rking with 3rd party and internal auditors, and vendor management. I have an exc
ellent track record in negotiating and reducing contract expenses by 10% to 50%.
I have led/participated in over ten M&A. The size of the M&A companies ranged f
rom $3.4 billion to over $2 trillion in asset value.
Prior to joining PNCGIS, I was the Information Technology Executive Director of
UBS Wealth Management USA for banking, trust and treasury. I also served as Chie
f Information and Technology Officer at Commerce Bank and Sun National Bank. I w
as the Director for Alliance Consulting, where I served on the executive managem
ent team with responsibilities for two business practices, Architecture (EPMO, s
trategy, enterprise integration) and Digital Intelligence (knowledge management,
business intelligence, and data warehousing).
My management style is based on leadership, customer focus, risk avoidance, coll
aboration/ team building, and focusing on seeking the optimal cost of ownership
as it relates to supporting business goals and enhancing shareholder value. My e
xperience allows me to scale from strategic to technically hands-on as the situa
tion requires.

? Upgraded all banking infrastructure over a 4 year period: all branches and fac

with servers and mainframe upgrades, Citrix servers to support remote access, c
all center and branch application system roll out, DR improvements, etc..

erall performance and allowing product and marketing with the LOB to dynamically
change the focus on what products the branch team should be cross selling and s
elling based on financial goals.
