-To be articulated enough as preparation for their chosen field or career.

Directions: Answer each letter item as precise as you are expected to.
Make proper citations of your resources (in whatever channels).
Present your answers in a proper logical form with certainty avoiding opinions.
Present answers in not more than two (2) paragraphs and in not more than seven
(7) statements.
Each letter item is assessed according to rubrics for essay having 18 points.
Your total points for the five (5) numbers amounts to 90/90.

CASE ANALYSIS SITUATIONS:

A)In more than two years of pandemic experience, we have been experiencing failure and
mismanagement in policy making on how the IATF takes its course specifically on pandemic
response.
What if the IATF is using the utilitarian ethics as their guiding principles in policy making that directly
highlights the famous moral arbiter “the greatest amount of good for the greatest number”.
Q: Let us assume that you belong in the circle of policy-making within the IATF and you have given a task
to (re) formulate that is grounded in the said utilitarian model. What would it be? Categorize our
formulated policies.

B) St. Thomas defines law as the ordinance for the common good made by those entrusted with the
community and promulgate. It.

Corruption in forms of nepotism and cronyism is a pernicious social and political problems in our society.
Since we are accustomed to it, we even justify it, saying it is only right for a person in power to protect
those around him.
Q: Will this be regarded as ethical egoism (ethics of one’s ego) with the view of
understanding the self in relation to ethics? Articulate on this.
