Topic: Strategic Alliance and Joint Ventures

Strategic alliances and joint ventures have become an important aspect of corporate
strategy. Partnership with other businesses opens doors to new resources,
capabilities, and markets accelerate technological development, lowers risks, and
strengthens market position. In today's highly competitive economy, a successful
partnership leads to a competitive edge, as proven by the amount of revenue
generated by alliances and their increasing numbers. Failure rates on the other
hand, show that cooperative strategies are difficult to implement. Our study will
outline the various stages of strategic implementation, with the help of examples as
well as future trends for alliance management.
