Deforestation in the

Amazon
WRITTEN BY EVA PAVLOVIKJ

The Amazon rainforest is the largest, most

diverse ecosystem in the world. Located in
South America, the rainforest has borders in
nine countries such as Brazil, Ecuador,
Bolivia, Peru and others..
The Amazon rainforest deforestation is
impacting the society everyday by supplying
20% of Earth’s oxygen and it also has a
large impact on the climate change around
the world and the loss of millions of
species.
The same rainforest which produces its own
rain is being deforested by fires which can
lead to land drying out and causing
wildfires which cause even more
deforestation. It is very important to be
aware of consequences that can occur any
of the world’s most beautiful creatures,
both plants and animals.

Deforestation
will lead us to
DEVASTATION!!!!
There are many ways in which we can reduce
deforestation.The ultimate solution is
definitely restoration of the forests which can
be done by encouraging the planting of trees.
On World Environment Day, people are participating in activities like tree planting in order to
conserve environment and that is how the awareness takes place.
In conclusion, without trees around us, there would be no life on the earth. We should all do
the needful to protect trees and reduce deforestation.
