New School Vocabulary & Skills

Teaching date : September 23

I. Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students can:


- Pronounce correctly the sounds /əʊ/ and /ʌ /in isolation and in context.
- Use the lexical items related to the topic “My New School”
- Ask appropriate questions when making new friends at a new school.
1. Knowledge:
- Pronunciation: - Sounds: /əʊ/, /ʌ/
- Structure: appropriate questions when making new friends at a new school.

2. Skills : Listening, Speaking, Reading,Writing and interactive skills

3. Attitude:
- Cooperation, respect, having right and friendly attitudes with friends,
teachers in the new school.
- Students are interested in doing exercises.
- Students are interested in and proud of the school.

II. Teaching methods : Communicative, game, practising, discussion group,
