Oregano has numerous uses to support the living. Many dishes were made aromatic because of
oregano. Not only does oregano good in food, its oil also promote many health benefits. Oregano
oil helps our body to prevent cancer; it is cure for cough, flu and many more. Today, Dengue is
prominent since we‘re experiencing rainy days. Dengue is cause by mosquito (Culicidae
pipiens.). Mosquitoes are one of the most medically significant vectors; they transmit parasites
and pathogens, which are responsible for the spread of severe human diseases like dengue,
Japanese encephalitis, filariasis, yellow fever, malaria and chikungunya (David et al. 2014;

The general problem of this study is how may the Oregano Mosquito Repellent be

Scope and Delimitation
The purpose of this study is to produce cheap and effective mosquito repellent that won’t use
any chemicals.
The experimental study will be conducted to certify if the Oregano mosquito repellent is better
