Moderator: A very good morning and assalammualaikum to all the audience and panelist. It is a
great day today to discuss and debate about education. Nowadays, many education issues are
bring up in our society such as Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3 (PT3), the students' journey after Sijil
Pendidikan Malaysia (SPM) and the latest one, the uses of ICT in educational system. So today,
our beautiful and good looking panelists who's gonna share information between us are invited
to today's forum. Young but mature, I am (......name.......). I study at IPGK (...............). And we
also have Dr. Afiqah Nur Nabilah, a lecturer from IPG Kampus Dato' Razali Ismail in
Terengganu. Next, we have Mrs Syahanis, a concern mother of one of our students here and
the last one is a trainee teacher from IPG Kampus Gaya in Sabah, Sister C Jessey. Welcome
everyone and thank you for attending this forum.
Moderator: Ladies and gentlemen, technology is everywhere in today’s world. This powerful tool
is not only change our lives but also our education. Education has begun to explore the potential
that technology provides to us for teaching and learning. Plus, teachers are using technologies
such as, LCD, Microsoft Powerpoint, Kahoot and Prezzi in the classroom more frequently than
ever before.
Moderator: Technology is changing teaching styles and the way students learn, but is it really
helpful for teachers to teach better and for students to learn better? For further detail about this
topic, I would like to seek an information from our first panel, Dr. Afiqah Nur Nabilah. As a
lecturer that has been teaching for 10 years, what do you think about using technology in your
lecture classes?

Moderator: We have listened to an amazing experiences about using technology in a Tesl
lecture class. Next we move to Mrs. Syahanis, as a mother to 3 children, how far do you agree
with using technology in your children education?

Moderator: Wow, that’s a good progress Mrs. Syahanis. And what about you, Jessey? Why do
you prefer to use technology when learning English language?

Moderator: Thank you, Jessey. So, there are many benefits that we can gain when using
technology. But as we all know, every good thing there must be a bad thing on it. The same
thing goes for using ICT in English education. Dr. Afiqah, what do you think of negative impacts
that will affect your students while using technology for the teaching and learning session?

Moderator: Given the potential consequences for plagiarizing, maybe Dr. Afiqah wants to share
how plagiarism may occur and what are the possible factors that would engage students to
plagiarize.

Moderator: Mrs. Syahanis, what have you done to keep your childrens producing original texts
and written assignments?

Moderator: Oh i see. What a good tips on how to avoid your children from plagiarism. Since
you've been nominated as an excellent student last year, what strategies do you use to avoid
plagiarism?

Moderator: Now, we all know that ICT provides us lots of benefits but it is depends on how we
