RELATIVE MOTION:

• Definition:
If a body is at rest with respect to some reference point at the same time, it can also
be in the state of motion with some other reference point. This phenomenon is
known as relative motion.
Note: No body is in absolute rest & absolute motion.
• Example:
A passenger flying on the plane is in motion when observed from ground but at the
same time he is at rest with reference to other passengers on board.
