ACTIVITY
Think for a moment about your favorite teacher. Write something that made
him/her so special that even years after elementary or high school you can still
remember the teacher‘s name. What are the notable characteristics you can still
identify?

 The teacher that I can still remember until now is Ma’am Irish Galiz my
teacher when I was SHS. She is my favorite teacher because she became
my second mother and she really treated me as her child. She’s always at
my back every time there’s someone who wants to fight me. She’s willing
to listen about the story of my life and she gave me some advised that
makes me inspired to fight in life. And when it comes in the classroom
she is really approachable, friendly, kind and she teach us very well, we
learned a lot from here not only about lesson in the subject but also
lesson about life.

ANALYSIS
Answer the following questions:

a. What makes a teacher competent? Support your answer.

* It makes teachers competent if they have the skills in listening,

adaptability, and patience. As a teacher listening well is one of the
most important skills needed to be a competent teacher. Effective
listening help a teacher better understand their students and tailor
lessons to reach them how they learn best. And secondly when
teacher has adaptability, she/he-------. And lastly as a teacher to
become competent she/ he need to have patience. A great teacher is
very patient with their students and their parents to deal with the
same questions and problems over and over again. You never give
up of your students and would try out new ways to help them
succeed in school.

teacher as suggested by this quotation?

* Teachers are giving us the opportunity to learn , but we as

students need to take initiative to utilize it by ours elf.

their teacher?

*As a future teacher, the things that I want my students to

rememeber about me are that; a kind, approachable, and a teacher
who teach them not only about the lesson but also teach them to
have a good manner. Having good manners is one of the most
important that the person need to have. Teaching your students to
have a good manner reminds you as a teacher that you teach the
students well. When as they get older they can still remember me
because she/he still applying the things that I taught her/him.
