Marque tool - tool

Magic wand - you can select pixels with similar properties
Crop tool - you can extract or cut a particular region in the image
Slice and Slice Select tool - can divide the design pane into slices and select
individual slices. Used for web/e-publishing designs
Healing brush tool - can modify selected areas with the sample reference part in
the image
Brush tool - you can paint or modify portion of the images with any
foreground color and brush pattern
Clone and Pattern Stamp tool - you can paint or modify portion of the images
with another part of the same of different image
History and Art History brush tool - you can paint with any style of
previously used images
Eraser tool - you can erase the foreground color to reveal background color
or make it transparent
Paint Bucket and Gradient tool - you can fill selected areas with foreground color or any
gradient
Smudge tool - provides smudging effect with the pixel color where it is
initiated
Burn, Dodge and Sponge tool - can simulate area-wise exposure modulation
in the image

Pen tool - precision selection with the help of adding and removing nodes
Text tool - adding and modifying texts in the design
Direct Selection tool - selecting individual nodes or path of a selection made
with pen tool
Rectangle and other geometric shape tool - drawing different geometric
shapes with selected foreground colors
Audio Annotation and Notes tool – embed audio reference and notes to the
design
Eyedropper tool – select the attributes of any desired pixel from the image and
apply them to other pixels
Hand tool – dragging overall image to see any desired portion
Zoom tool – zoom in and out
