General
The crane must only be operated by personnel authorized by LIEBHERR.
Please keep clear of slewing area during load test.
Only authorized personnel to be on the crane during function test.
For Offshore cranes:
If not explicitly stated otherwise, all tests are to be done with the crane in "Onboard-Lift" mode.
AOPS is not to be specially activated. (e.g. sector and height limitation shall not be bypassed)
1.1.0 ROPES
Check that all ropes are mounted onto the drum properly and all fixed points are mounted correctly.
1.4.0 LUBRICATION
All greasing points and oil filled items must be checked for proper lubrication.
GENERAL NOTES:
TEST WEIGHTS
Only certified test weights shall be used (accuracy of load cell A ± 2%).

Creep Test
After the brake test, the boom has to remain in a steady position although the winch drive is switched off.
No creep shall occur within 15 minutes.
This test has to be done for the main hoist and the whip hoist.
Brake Test
The brakes are to be tested, with the load applied on the crane, by braking the lowering motion from maximum
speed to full stop. This test has to be done 3 times by releasing the control lever from maximum to neutral position
and 1 time by activating the emergency stop. Between braking actions the load has to cease swinging.
Creep Test
After the brake test, the load has to remain in a steady position although the winch drive is switched off.
No creep shall occur within 15 minutes.

criteria fulfilled
Boom luffing from max. radius to min. radius shall be operated simultaneously with hoisting the testload at max. outreach with
slewing through 120 degrees.
This cycle (s) shall be repeated till the test time is over.
Successfully tested without troubles of faults
A test load of approximately 10 % - 20 % of the maximum rated capacity for onboard lift must be placed on the ground and the
boom must be moved up and down by simultaneously pressing the CT button.
During this test the load shall not be lifted of the ground.

Auxiliary Hoist n.a.
This test shows that the crane is equipped with the specific features given for personnel lift in the above mentioned standard.
The crane is not intended for the handling of rescue boats.
Remark:
Compared to the available hoisting velocity of the hoisting gear released for personnel lift, the hoisting velocity is not reduced
by default. On customer request, the hoisting speed can be reduced taking into account the applicable rules and regulations.
However, for lifts from supply vessels, the compliance with the required minimum hoisting velocities to avoid re-contact with
the load supporting deck must be guaranteed (see e.g. values given on the load chart table).
