Show: _____________________________
*Use this template to help devise and develop your character in the show and give them a
background. This helps you discover more about your character and play them more
realistically, thus making you a better actor/actress. Some of these traits may be made up, but
be sure some are in correlation with your character’s personality. (Ex: Hamilton can’t be a quiet,
shy guy. It doesn’t make sense in context of the show.) Try to have this done 1 - 2 weeks after
rehearsals have started and keep it with your script.
