PARENTS’ ORIENTATION 2021

The Department of Education (DepEd), in its commitment to ensure that education must

continue amidst the challenges and uncertainties of face to face classes brought by Corona

Disease 2019 (COVID-19), shall formollay open School Year (SY 2021-2022). Pursuant to

Republic Act. No. 11280, the President, upon the recommendation of the DepEd Secretary, has

approved SY 2021-2022 to open on September 13, 2021.

As part of the opening of the school year, Telbang National High School conducted a

face-to-face parents’ orientation while strictly following the various school health and safety

protocols to ensure that all parents are informed about the updates and changes of the educational

setup in this COVID-19 Pandemic and the new normal situation they must embrace.

The said orientation focused on the following:

 Printed Modular Distance Leaning

 Distribution and Retrieval of Modules

 5P’s in Facilitating Learning

 Role of Parents/Guardians/Home Learning Facilitators in the New Normal

Education

 Learning Space at Home

 Beginning Reading

 WASH Practices at Home

Through this orientation, the parents are expected to realize their role as active agents in

the teaching learning process, considering that learning will take place at their homes.

Truly, good parental support and encouragement play a crucial part in the success of their

children.
