Activity 1

-PowerPoint is Microsoft's presentation software that enables users to create engaging


presentations that consist of individual pages, or slides, which may contain text, graphics,
sound, movies, hyperlinks, and other objects. PowerPoint enables users to add animation and
effects to slideshow elements.

-A transparency, also known variously as a viewfoil, foil, or viewgraph, is a thin sheet of transparent
flexible material, typically polyester, onto which figures can be drawn. These are then placed on an
overhead projector for display to an audience.

-A whiteboard (also known by the terms marker board, dry-erase board, dry-wipe board, and


pen-board) is a glossy, usually white surface for making nonpermanent markings (an evolved
version of the blackboard).

-A handout is a paper containing a summary of information or topics which will be dealt with


in a lecture or talk.

-A flip chart is a stationery item consisting of a pad of large paper sheets. It is typically
fixed to the upper edge of a whiteboard, or supported on a tripod or four-legged easel.
Such charts are commonly used for presentations.
-VHS means Video Home System. This system uses a videocassette tape to record video and
sound, which can be watched on a television. A DVD/VHS combo can record (write)
on VHS tapes, read off VHS tapes, and additionally, read from DVD discs.

Are you convinced with the statement in the image? Why or Why not?
-No, because someone’s view must be respected. If their choice is opposite on us, we shouldn’t
force and dictate them to change their views for us to have the same. It is manipulation.
If you were the person in the image, how are you going to convince others to have the
same views as yours?

First of all their views are their choice so I have nothing with it and will not convince them to
have the same views with me but if their views are inaccurate, unethical and biased especially
when the topic is about the rights of human then I must convince them to change it in a manner
way where I will show them facts that are reliable, unbiased, resourceful and moral that would
make them change their views just as same on mine.
