AP Physics 2 Unit 12 Notes

The document contains notes for an AP Physics 2 unit on thermodynamics. It discusses key concepts like the pressure-volume relationship of ideal gases and how absolute zero relates to extrapolating experimental temperature and pressure data. It also includes sample problems and data tables relating pressure, volume, and absolute pressure for an ideal gas law experiment.

The pressure of an ideal gas is measured as changes in
temperature are made. The relationship is extrapolated to
find absolute zero. The experiment is then repeated in a
container of the same volume but with twice as many
molecules present. How would the data and the
extrapolation be similar or different?
