a. National Highway Development Projects (NHDP)
i. Golden Quadrilateral (started in 2000)– Phase –I Total length, 5846 km,
connecting four major metropolitan cities, Delhi-Mumbai; Mumbai-
Chennai; Chennai – Kolkata; Kolkata- Delhi
ii. Phase II – North –South Corridor (Srinagar to Kanyakumari), East-West
corridor (Silchar to Porbandar), total length 7300 km.
