A SPEECH BY THE S.R.

C PRESIDENT ON THE 30TH OF JULY,2020 AT TESHIE TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTRE


ON THE SEND OFF OF THE OUTGOING S.C.R EXECUTIVES.

Mr. Chairmam,Principal, Vice Principal Academic, Vice Principal Administration, Senior House Master,
Senior House Mistress ,Teaching and Non-Teaching Staffs, Outgoing S.R.C Executives,Incoming S.R.C
Executives Students, Good Day.

I deem it a great privilege to be before you all today. Today marks the end of an old reign and the
same time marks the beginning of a new reign.

Mr.Chairman,we the S.R.C Executive board layed out three (3) aims when we came into office in the
year 2019/2020 academic year which we intend to achieve by the end if our tenure in office but
unfortunately we could not achieve all of them due to some reasons we could not control.

Mr. Chairman, out of the three aims, we were able to achieve the first one which was most
important to us and that is, the establishment of a cadet group in the school was made successful. Yes,
you can all attest to the fact that we now have a very vibrant cadet corp in the school. We believe very
soon the cadet will be a force to work with the school management to enforce discipline in this our
noble institute.

Mr. Chairman, our second aim was that when we were elected into office as the S.R.C Executives, we
realized that there were no flags in the school and that made us work on getti3the school flags and flag
poles as well and will soon be mounted for everyone to see.

Mr.Chairman,finally when we were elected into office, we had it in plan to make some changes in
regard to the school’s entrance and make it overhead (Security post) but we were informed that it has
been given to the final years offering Building Construction as their final practical examination and it was
a good news to us but then the Corona Virus Pandemic has made it impossible for the construction to
come true during this era but we also believe that God’s Time is Always the best and that this aim will
surely be achieved one day and we pray it is soon.

Mr. Chairman, before I hand over, I would give a word of advice to our successors. There is an old
adage that’s states that “ BERIMA BEYE BI NA ENSO WAN BEYE NI NYINARA" which literally means that,”
A MAN WAS BORN TO DO HIS BEST BUT CANNOT DO EVERYTHING” so there I urge the Incoming
Executives to do their maximum best to continue from where we left off and build this great and noble
institution. GOD BLESS TESHIE TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, GOD BLESS GHANA.
