Instructions

This assignment aims to create a short profile of self-employed entrepreneurs in order to understand the
real situation of the entrepreneurs in this category. By self-employed entrepreneurs we mean those
entrepreneurs who are both the owner and the operator of the business, who do not employ any salaried or
paid employees to support the business, and who keep all the income earned by themselves. Such
entrepreneurs can take help from their family members, however, without any systematic remuneration.

Each student must choose a different topic/entrepreneur for the purpose of this assignment. You are
encouraged to take photos of the business or entrepreneur and include in your profile. Likewise, you are
also required to write your own byline at the end of each profile. Optionally, you may submit your
headshot (passport style photograph). You will be asked to revise your submission multiple times, if
required. The final work will be used for your evaluation as well as the creation of a small booklet.
Length of the article should be 500 - 1000 words.
