Eg. casual drop in visitors

some incoming mails

• QUADRANT OF DECEPTION

Not Important

Eg. Watching mindless TV shows

Gossiping

• QUADRANT OF WASTE
→ we often escape to Quadrant

Quad II – Important &

Eg. Spiritual renewal
Chanting Hare Krishna mantra

• QUADRANT OF QUALITY
→ Involves long term vision
→ It empowers us

How do we find time for

When …
• 24 hours are not enough, with so
much to do.

• We are all racing with time.

Prahalad Maharaj in Srimad Bhagvatam
instructs

kaumära äcaret präjïo

dharmän bhägavatän iha
durlabhaà mänuñaà janma
tad apy adhruvam arthadam
One who is sufficiently
intelligent should use the human
form of body from the very
beginning of his life to practice
the activities of devotional
service.
The human body is most rarely
achieved and although
temporary like other bodies, it is
meaningful because in human
life one can perform devotional
service.
Even a slight amount of
sincere devotional service
can give one complete
perfection.
Srimad Bhagvatam instructs

labdhvä su-durlabham idaà bahu-sambhavänte

mänuñyam artha-dam anityam apéha dhéraù
türëaà yateta na pated anu-måtyu yävan
niùçreyasäya viñayaù khalu sarvataù syät
After many, many births and
deaths one achieves the rare
human form of life, which,
affords one the opportunity to
attain the highest perfection.
Thus a sober human being
should quickly endeavor for the
ultimate perfection of life... as
long as his body, which is
always subject to death, has not
fallen down and died.
After all, sense gratification is
available even in the most
abominable species of life,
whereas Krishna consciousness
is possible only for a human
being.
MOST COMMONLY
EXPRESSED FEAR

But what if I am neither

here nor there !!!
In Bhagavad-gita Arjuna asks Krishna

“O Kåñëa, what is the destination of

the unsuccessful transcendentalist, who
in the beginning takes to the process of
self-realization with faith but who later
desists due to worldly-mindedness and
thus does not attain perfection in
mysticism?”
“O mighty-armed Kåñëa, does not such
a man, who is bewildered from the
path of transcendence, fall away from
both spiritual and material success and
perish like a riven cloud, with no
position in any sphere?”
Krishna replies …
“Son of Påthä, a
transcendentalist
engaged in
auspicious activities
does not meet with
destruction either in
this world or in the
spiritual world.”
“The unsuccessful yogé, after many,
many years of enjoyment on the
planets of the pious living entities, is
born into a family of righteous people,
or into a family of rich aristocracy.”
“Or he takes his birth in a family of
transcendentalists who are surely great
in wisdom. Certainly, such a birth is
rare in this world.”
“On taking such a birth, he revives the
divine consciousness of his previous
life, and he again tries to make further
progress in order to achieve complete
success, O son of Kuru.”
“And when the yogé engages himself
with sincere endeavor in making
further progress, being washed of all
contaminations, then ultimately,
achieving perfection after many, many
births of practice, he attains the
supreme goal.”
We conclude…
If we have to lead meaningful lives, we
have learn to effectively manage our
TIME
by spending considerable time in
SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES
The end
