XERION owes its superior manoeuvrability to its intelligent
four-wheel steering system. As soon as the driver turns
the steering wheel to full lock, the rear axle is steered
automatically. Synchronisation is fully automatic and relies
on steering angle sensors.

Strong axle concept.

The axles provide intelligent four-wheel steering and a high
load rating of up to 18 tonnes per axle (at 10 km/h). In
addition, XERION offers a permanent four-wheel drive with
an axial differential lock and a locking pivot axle (optional).
These features combine to make your daily work signifi-

Powerful hydraulic system.

Two powerful axial piston pumps lie at the heart of the
load sensing system. One supplies the remote spool
valves, the other the machine system:
• The first pump supplies linkage and auxiliary spool valves
• The second pump supplies the oil cooler, steering and
brake
• Operating pressure per pump is 200 bar at 190 l/min
as a maximum
• 130 l capacity
• Up to 5 double-acting spool valves
• Time/flow control is infinitely variable from CEBIS
• Flow rate max. 110 l per spool valve
• Large available hydraulic oil of max. 80 litres

With the pump providing a direct supply to remote imple-

ments, it guarantees a continued high output and high
spot-on lift capacities. The breakaway connections enable
rapid and straightforward coupling, even of pressurised
systems.

The rear linkage is easily operated from the multifunction
lever while the ELC is conveniently set on the CEBIS sys-
tem. Both multifunction lever and CEBIS provide enhanced
operator comfort:

is a good compromise solution, provided the job is fin-
ished quickly. If it is not, the reverse drive system will leave
you no other option than putting up with being squeezed
in an uncomfortable position behind the reversed steering

CLAAS SEQUENCE MANAGEMENT.

For easer headland turns, CSM allows the operator to
record all headland functions and retrieve them as
required:
• Record 4 sequences and retrieve them at a later time
(F1 – F4)
• Display and edit sequences on CEBIS

Automatic functions.
There is no need to do everything yourself, because
XERION automatically controls the following machine
functions:
• Rear and front linkages
• Up to 5 hydraulic spool valves
• Rear PTO Steering with GPS.

XERION 3300 is no exception here:

• Oil change intervals for gearbox, hydraulic system and

axles are as long as 1,500 hours

• One-piece bonnet gives easy access to all service
points
• The front cooling packages swivels out on a hinge

• The air filter is readily accessible for cleaning between
the axles on the right side of the machine
