SYRIA RELIEF – MEAL OFFICER TEST

You have 2 hours to complete the below test (Three Questions), on Sunday 13-May.

Question # 1: (answer the question on the Excel Answer Sheet) (40 Marks)

“Question 1” tab contains row data that has been collected from a needs assessment. Your team needs to
make a decision depending on the findings of the needs assessment analysis. They asked you to CLEAN the
data and make the data easier to read by generating pivot tables;

1. Format data as a table. (5 Marks)


2. Freeze the header and the first two columns. (5 Marks)
3. While you are cleaning, if you found any data entry mistakes highlight it and write comments. (5
Marks)
4. Highlight all displaced people in red using conditional formatting. (8 Marks)
5. Generate pivot table showing health needs for both displaced and host community. (9 Marks)
6. Generate a pivot table showing health needs per location. (8 Marks)

Question # 2: (answer the question on the Excel Answer Sheet) (40 Marks)

“Question 2” tab contains data for a market assessment which was conducted using mobile data collection.
Data was stored on the server and uploaded to excel (“Question 2” tab).

1. Reorganize and clean the data set to better support requirement number 2. (5 Marks)
2. Create a dashboard that contains relevant charts using Excel based on the dataset you’ve
organized.
A. Chart shows number of respondents per business type. (7 Marks)
B. Chart shows number of respondents per village. (7 Marks)
C. Chart shows the main constraints shops are facing in their business. (7 Marks)
3. Write a report paragraph in English that explain Q2.2 charts. (14 Marks)
