Part 1

1. Achievement Motivation - urge to improve one-self in relation to a goal.

2. Training or Development Phase - phase training program is implemented to develop motivation and
skills among participant.

3.Technical Knowledge - Once the entrepreneur selects a particular enterprise the technical aspects of
the trade is essential.

4. Achievement Motivation Training - The purpose of ______ is to develop the need to achieve, risk
taking, initiative and other such behavioural traits.

5. Personal Efficacy - general sense of adequacy in a person.

6. Project Preparation - a lot of time needs to be devoted to the actual preparation of a project. Active
involvement in this task would provide them necessary understanding and ensure their personal
commitment.

7. Post Training or Follow-up Phase - involves assessment to judge how far the objectives of the program
have been achieved.

8. Managerial Skill - particularly essential for a small scale enterprise who cannot afford to employ
specialists in different areas of management.

9. Identification of Enterprise - once an entrepreneur having necessary socio-personal and human


resource characteristics is identified, it is necessary to identify suitable enterprise or project for him

1. What is Entrepreneurial Development Program ? What are its objectives? Explain and give examples.

Entrepreneurial Development Program is a program that is aimed to teach entrepreneurs to play


their roles effectively in an entrepreneurial manner. It is designed to hone the entrepreneurs skills to
further improve and impact their businesses positively.

Objectives of Entrepreneurial Development Program includes analyzing the environment. This


includes identifying the competitors, opportunities and other threats that may have an impact in the
running of the entrepreneur's business. Acquiring basic managerial skills, where managing both the
business and its employees are vital. Problem solving if needed, for example whenever a problem arises
such as a customer complaint, it is the duty of the entrepreneur to handle the situation and provide the
necessary solution.

2. Identification of Enterprise: Once an entrepreneur having necessary socio - personal and human
resources characteristics are identified, It is necessary to identify suitable enterprise or project for him.
