1. “They” refer to the seventeen boys and seventeen girls in the south part of the
building.
2. The synonym of “beverages” is drinks.
3. I think Sophie is right to have that party, cause she expresses her thanks to God and
makes her friends happy for having that simple party.
4. Rita is spoiled and easy to be jealous of little things. According to the text, She is a
spoiled girl and her parents always grant all of her requests. And, having a huge party
after seeing her friend have a small party. Her father is spoiling her too much, he rents
a public building for ten million rupiahs and hires an EO for four million two hundred
and fifty thousand rupiahs just to spoil her child (Rita).
5. She should learn how to be not spoiled and has to learn how to save money. That
money that her dad rents for her can be used for her future needs.
6. I think the party that Rita held is a total wrong idea, does not mean that she is jealous
of Sophie, she can hold that party

God and her friends. Therefore she is now having a big party, but her classmates
whom she does not like are not invited named Susi, and she is calling Dita about how
the party is going on. Dita said that this is the biggest party she ever had. Rita’s father
rents a public building and it takes for ten million rupiahs, he also hires an EO, he
pays that for four million two hundred and fifty thousand rupiahs. There are many
guests coming. There are six groups of guests. In the west part of the building there
are twenty-boys and ten girls. And next to that group there are seventeen boys and
thirteen girls. They are having alcoholic beverages and smoking. And in the north part
of the building there is another group. There are eighteen boys and eleven girls. Most
of our classmates are in this group. And in the east there are two groups. In the first
group, there are eight boys and twenty-three girls. And there are thirty-four invitees in
the other group. All are boys. And the last group is in the south part of the building. In
this group there are seventeen boys and seventeen girls. They are singing and dancing
happily. Some of them are smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages. Dita also said
that every guest food cost one hundred and fifty thousand rupiahs, and for the drinks
cost seventy-five thousand rupiahs every guest. The decoration is five million two
hundred and fifty thousand rupiahs. Susi is very shocked, she asks how is Rita? She
looks very happy walking around and greeting everyone present, Dita said.
