This document provides instructions for installing an immobilizer emulator for Nissan vehicles with NATS 5 or NATS 5.6 immobilizer systems. There are three methods for installing and aligning the emulator with the vehicle's ECU: using a diagnostic tool, via ECU dump, or updating the emulator data using configurator software. The emulator's LED will blink in different patterns to indicate its status during operation.

Description: For Nissan cars equipped with NATS 5 or NATS 5.6 systems.
How to install and align with ECU:
There are 3 methods possible: Method 1: using diagnostic tool - install emulator in place of NATS unit: Line to pin1, GND to pin4, +12 to pin7 launch re-learn procedure using diagnostic tool. By default PIN code is 5523. Method 2: via ECU dump - write syncro bytes (MAC) into ECU dump directly. By default MAC is 3A4F. Method 3: update emulator data to match ECU using configurator software and any K-Line compatible adapter: place solder joint to short JUMPER,connect emulator to k-line adapter and power supply, launch software, replace PIN and MAC with any valid values you wish (PIN is your choice, but MAC must match value already stored into ECU), remove solder joint. Install emulator on car.
LED operation with jumper shorted (WORK mode, normal operation):
One short blink – 1) on power-up 2) message received Four short blinks: ECU not authorized (wrong MAC ?), Long blink (LED is ON for 1 second): MAC accepted by ECU, engine start is allowed. JUMPER Connection diagram for configuration:
