CA Secure Browser

Installation/Upgrade
Guide
Below are instructions for installing or Upgrading the California Secure Browser for CAASPP
testing on your personal Mac or Windows laptop, for use during testing this year. Please note
that we are unable to provide technical support for this task, so if you run into trouble or are
unable to make it work, please seek the help of your onsite student tech team or check out an
Acer from the media center.

YOU MUST DO THIS EACH YEAR - EVEN IF YOU ALREADY INSTALLED THE SECURE
BROWSER LAST YEAR. THE ASSESSMENT WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE LATEST
VERSION OF THE SECURE BROWSER, SO LAST YEAR’S VERSION WILL NOT WORK
THIS YEAR.
