Background Information
This is a first year class of 24 students who are studying English course for 120 minutes per week. They are in first semester which is consisting of 16 weeks. I
am teaching reading in this class. Our lesson is running about “The call of wild”. In this chapter almost all the information about to practice scanning for
specific information (quotations, and sayings) mentioned. In this lesson Ss may learn the scanning in the text. It is an effective and interesting lesson because Ss
learn how to scanning the text, magazine and long reading text.
Having multilevel students – What is their motivation for learning, for example?
Make sure you include the following:
Level – e.g. Beginner
Dynamic – Do they get on well together? Do they participate willingly? etc.
Needs – As a group, what are the areas of greatest weakness? (Ideally your lesson plan will be addressing one of these areas)
