COURSE DESCRIPTION: Agrarian Law and Social Legislation is a subject that studies
all the existing social legislations such as the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law, Social Security
Act, Magna Carta for Women, among others. The course aims to impress upon the student the
laws/rules that are applicable to various vulnerable sectors of the society, and the laws applicable
in different social concerns. The subject also covers a brief study of the evolution of the Agrarian
Reform Law and other social legislations, their basis, and their relevance and applicability.
