Chapter III
CLOSING
Conclusion
that occupational health and safety is an effort and effort to create protection and security from
the risk of accidents and dangers both physically, mentally and emotionally to workers,
companies, communities and the environment.
As a program system designed for workers and employers, occupational health and safety or K3
is expected to be a preventive measure against the occurrence of work accidents and diseases due
to work relations in the work environment. The implementation of K3 begins with identifying
things that have the potential to cause work accidents and diseases due to work relationships, and
taking anticipatory action if such things happen. The purpose of creating this system is to reduce
company costs in the event of work accidents and diseases due to work relations.
The role of health workers in dealing with victims of work accidents is that through secondary
prevention this is carried out through workers' health checks which include initial examinations,
periodic examinations and special examinations. To prevent accidents and illnesses in the
workplace, counseling on occupational health and safety can be done.
Suggestion
Occupational health and safety are very important in development because work illnesses and
accidents will cause lost benefit to a company or country. Therefore, occupational health and
safety must be maximally managed not only by health workers but the entire community.
