As we live in the modern world, stress is still
unavoidable. Everyone – adult, kids and even
teenagers – experience stress in different ways.
Every human being live in a world that includes
many stressful circumstances.
• According to Merriam Webster, stress is something that
causes a strong feelings of worry, anxiety or pressure. Some
student says that it is something which is too much that makes
them pressured.
• It is an omnipresent part of life.
• -It is a term people often used to describe a feeling of
pressure, strain, or tension.

Academic is one of major stressors common to teenagers.
o Students feel pressure to daily classwork and
homework assignments, finish projects and study for
exams.
o Teens was pressured to maintain or to make a much
higher grades and to have addition to their grades,
they also participate on other extracurricular activities
that cut their schedule for relaxations.
Family problems is also stressful for teens.
o Facing financial crisis, separated or divorced parents can
cause to depression.

and anxiety. It is not common for teens to be emotional

o There are some friends that pressure you to do something
bad just to be part of their group and/or considered as
“cool”.
o Bullying, especially on freshmen and harassment
may distract teens from studying that leads to
additional stress and anxiety.
o Even a sense of loss like break up of relationship,
loss of scholarship and even natural disaster can
also be an additional stress for teens.
