Assignment of Process Control Fundamentals

This document provides instructions for a process control fundamentals assignment involving developing dynamic models of systems, implementing PID control, and comparing open-loop and closed-loop responses. Students are asked to: 1) Develop dynamic models for level control of interacting and non-interacting systems. 2) Implement PID control of the models in MATLAB. 3) Tune the PID controllers using Ziegler-Nichols method and show simulation outputs. 4) Develop a dynamic model to control height h2 of a uniquely connected two-tank system. 5) Develop a dynamic model for level control h3 of a non-interacting single-tank system.
