As the Vice President for Social and Community Engagement, I plan programming for GSAP members to create
community amongst the two CSA program cohorts. I also plan our community engagement and fundraising events to raise
money to fund institutional site visits, end of year awards, and other cohort functions.
Student Government Association (Graduate Senator, Health & Safety and Graduate Committees) July 2020 - Present
As a graduate senator, I represent and speak on behalf of the graduate student population at UWG. I attend weekly SGA
meetings where we meet with campus administration to voice student concerns and vote on bills to increase student
success and satisfaction on campus.
Graduate Student Affairs Professionals (Interview Weekend Chair) November 2019 - February 2020
As the interview weekend chair, I helped to facilitate interview weekend for the incoming cohort of the College Student
Affairs Administration graduate program. I assisted in hosting our candidates on campus, booked and set up venues, and
coordinated interviews with faculty and campus partners.
Division of Student Affairs (Student Involvement Intern) August 2017 - December 2018
After serving as an orientation leader for 4 years, the student involvement internship position was created to allow me to
gain more student affairs experience while I completed my last undergraduate classes. In this role, I worked similar hours
to a graduate assistantship, and was tasked with serving as a secondary advisor to the orientation team and campus
activities board, create and implement training for the New Student Orientation program, overseeing student organizations
activity calendar and budgets, reviewing and approving even proposals, and other daily operations in Residence Life and
Student Activities.
Wesleyan Admissions Volunteer Experience (Ambassador) August 2015 - December 2018
As a WAVE ambassador, I was a part of a small student group responsible for conducting tours for prospective students,
aiding in the execution of campus visit events, and maintaining communication with prospective students through phone
calls, email, and postcards.

(PSY 442) I designed a program titled Mission Possible that aimed to aid persistence for students from poverty and
first generation students in higher education.
The Effects Between Hair Type, Race, and Professionalism January 2018
(PSY 305) The purpose of this study was to interpret if there was true discrimination toward natural hair textures
by analyzing correlative data between natural hair depictions and professional ratings.
Transitioning into Adulthood: An analysis of the problems facing seniors emerging into adulthood August 2017
(PSY 442) I designed a program titled Foundation that aimed to resolve the societal problem of high school
students not making a smooth transition into adulthood due to lack of financial education, being unaware of
their post-secondary options, and/or not receiving a high school diploma.
