Concrete Mix Design: Vary

This concrete mix design is for precast concrete beams and girders used in Etihad Rail Stage 2 & 3 Project in the UAE. The concrete strength requirement is 60 MPa. The mix contains 450 kg of total cement consisting of 302 kg OPC cement, 112 kg GGBS, and 36 kg microsilica. Aggregates include 630 kg of 20 mm crushed aggregate, 450 kg of 10 mm crushed aggregate, 580 kg of 5 mm crushed aggregate, and 250 kg of natural dune sand. The water-cement ratio is 0.32 and the target slump is 200 mm with tolerances of ±30 mm.
