Draft Resolution No. 160-2020 - Adopting LDRRM Plan 2021

The Sangguniang Bayan of Plaridel, Misamis Occidental adopted the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Plan for 2021 during its 36th regular session on November 6, 2020. The plan was submitted by the Municipal Mayor through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION


MANAGEMENT PLAN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PLARIDEL, PROVINCE OF
MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL FOR THE OPERATIONAL YEAR 2021

WHEREAS, in compliance with the R.A. 10121, otherwise known as the


Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, the Municipal Mayor
thru its Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, submitted to this
August Body the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Plan for the
operational year 2021 for adoption;

WHEREAS, upon review of the Sangguniang Bayan, the plan covers the disaster
prevention, preparedness and mitigation, response, rehabilitation and recovery plans
which corresponds to the structure of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Council;

WHEREAS, the aforementioned plan will strengthen the municipality’s


institutional capacity for disaster risk reduction and management and building the
resilience of the communities in times of calamities;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SB Member Lucita M. Aviles, duly seconded by


SB Member Algelyn B. Paradiang, the Sangguniang Bayan Members –

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVES, TO ADOPT THE MUNICIPAL


DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT PLAN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
PLARIDEL, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL FOR THE OPERATIONAL
YEAR 2021

RESOLVED FINALLY, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Office


of the Municipal Mayor, and other offices, departments and agencies concerned for
their information, guidance and reference.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED by the 29th Sangguniang Bayan of Plaridel on its


36 Regular Session for CY 2020 held on November 6, 2020.
