Introduction to Biology II
Why evolution is true: evidence for evolution in nature,
fossils, the geological time scale, the origin of life on
earth, important events in the evolutionary history of life,
Tree of Life.
Theories of evolution: Lamarckism, Darwinism, neo-
Darwinism.
Mechanisms of evolution: Populations, gene frequencies,
equilibrium, mutation, migration, selection.
