Satellite Dish General Specification for


Installation and Placement
The following provisions will control the installation of all satellite dish and microwave
antenna in _____________.

1.0 Specifications
1.1 No more than one dish shall be installed per home.
1.2 The maximum dish diameter should not exceed 1 meter.
1.3 Roof installations must be installed by a license contractor. Any damage to
the roof will be the financial responsibility of the homeowner and if repaired
by the association will be billed for all work done
1.4 All mountings and conduit must be unobtrusive and should be painted to
match surrounding surfaces.
1.5 Dish to be located on or within 3 feet of the house
1.6 Dishes should not be mounted on the roof.
1.7 Dishes should be located so as not to be visible from the front street.
1.8 In the event that the association needs to perform maintenance, painting or
repairs, the removal and reinstallation shall be the responsibility of the owner.
1.9 If the antenna is removed permanently, the mounting surface needs to be
restore to it original condition.
2.0 Request for Installation
2.1 An Architectural Change Request Form must be submitted to the Board for
approval prior to any installation, with a drawing of location. The board will
approve the location and size within 30 days.

The FCC Ruling in 1998 dictates that no owner or resident may install antenna
on common property without the Association permission.
