Course Description and Objectives

Management is not purely a theoretical subject; it is highly a practical discipline. We expect that our
managers should not only be thinking managers they should also be action managers. The objective
of this course is to make a careful blending of theory with practice which will make our managers
efficient and effective.

Grading:
As per the policy of university.

Group Formation:
Students are requested to form a group of maximum 5 members. This group will work together for
the group case, assignment, and term paper. Every member must ensure their group activities
individually.

Use of mobile phones: The use of mobile phone is not permitted in the class room and in the
exam hall. Mobile phone must be switched off before entering the class room and examination
hall. For the purpose of time checking, use of mobile phone is not permitted.

Case analysis and presentation: Cases are in-class works that are designed to enhance analytical
ability and presentation skills of the participants. It will be a group reading and individual
presentation.
Group Project: Group projects will be based on some selected topics/articles. The instructor will
assign a separate topic for each group and the group must deliver a presentation after one week
of assignment.
Articles Review
Each student will be assigned for reviewing one article from local and international journals.
Students are advised to present the article with a ppt and upload in piazza.
