    AWS Cloud Architect Job Description

    Below is the Job Description for the AWS Cloud Architect Profile with Datamatics Global Services.

    8-14 years of end-to-end experience in solution designing and delivering large and complex cloud
    Infrastructure/Application development/Migration projects

    Experience in Architecture and Design of Deploying Enterprise applications on AWS.

    Customer facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer environment and drive discussion
    on best practices, trade-offs, project management and risk mitigations

    Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

    Hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale

    Expertise in Infrastructure capacity sizing, costing of AWS services to drive optimized solution
    Architecture

    Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements like HIPPA, PCIDSS, SOX etc

    Experience in Security solutions on AWS and Security Best Practices

    Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts Developing monitoring architecture and implementing
    monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations and alerts

    Experience in Software Installation,configuration and Patching

    Good to have knowledge on Dockers, ECS, EKS and Analytic services

    Knowledge of system monitoring in a cloud environment including cloud specific products and tools

    Experience in planning and implementing Disaster Recovery on Cloud

    Presentation/Communication/Managerial Skills:

    Initiate and design visually engaging and creative PPTs elaborating Cloud product/services to
    showcase to prospective partners, clients, and end customers.

    Understanding client's requirements and preparing RFI, RFP, RFQ Responses for Cloud based
    projects

    Working along with other Pre-Sales team members to work towards achieving various AWS
    Competencies.

    Work with delivery team to ensure the projects are delivered on-time and at the accepted standards
    to customer where solution is provided.

    Additional Preferred Qualifications


    AWS certified Solution Architect – Professional

    Specialty certifications on Networking, Security and Bigdata

    Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing


    environments

    Hands-on software development experience with internet related business models, Bigdata
    analytics, Data science, IOT, Microservices etc

    Integration of AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies from VMWare, Microsoft, Oracle,
    HP, SAP

    Experience in migrating workloads from on-premise to AWS cloud using leading tools and
    technologies.

    Personal Traits expected :

    Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

    Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and explain them to others.

    Self-starter, multitasking, independent, responsible.

    Good interpersonal communication with other team members.

    Strong initiative and teamwork.

    Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

    Analytical thinker and able to manage multiple projects at one time

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or related experience.
