Generally, one of the two technology (analogue and digital) is used to transmit
the signal. In analogue transmission, analogue signals are modulated onto the
radio carrier wave, and in digital transmission, the audio and video are
transmitted by digital signals.
In our solution, we have gone for small distance (500m) video signal
transmission using a simple transistor and microprocessor circuit.
The tv transmitter that is used in this communication system can transmit audio
& video signal from a camcorder camera, video game, analogue CCTV camera

Etc. It transmits the video in the VHF strip of frequency. These signals can be
sent through an antenna and can be received up to a distance of 500 meters. It
can work from 12 to 15 volts of range. The main component of this circuit is the
integrated circuit LM1889N of National Semiconductor, that consist of a
Modulator of Video for TV in an involucre of 18 pins.
The video signal from CCTV camera is applied to pin 13 of the IC after passing
through amplifiers with two transistors.
This video signal is modulated with the video carrier whose frequency is
determined by L2 and the capacitor in parallel.
The exit of the radio frequency (RF) signal is obtained from the pin 11, and this
is fed to an amplifying circuit with a transistor and an antenna is connected for
transmission.
This circuit utilises 12V or 15V of source with at least 1A of current and a good
filter. This filter is used to remove the noise from the system.

Storage devices are electronic devices which are used to store data (audio,
video, etc.). There are many types of storage devices with their advantage and
disadvantage; some of these are:
1. Hard Disk
2. Memory card
3. Pen drive
4. Disk Drives
In our case for the sake of portability and high storage requirements, we can go
with either a hard disk or a memory card. This memory card can be connected
with the help of an adaptor. With the input voltage range of 5 to 15V, these two
devices can be operated without any problem, and a 1.5GB of memory will
store around 1-1.5hr of video data.
