Introduction
Hi! Welcome to the Podcast.co podcast! Podcasts vs Radio, which is better? Let’s find out!
(Keep any introduction very brief and to the point. Say the name of the podcast, maybe
your own name or what the podcast is about, and what topic you’re focusing on this
episode.)

[INTRO JINGLE]

Extend Intro & Segue into Main Content

● Podcasts Are On-Demand Content: Listeners can listen whenever and wherever they
want.
● Radio is Live: Listeners can still listen whenever and wherever but will start halfway
through a show.
(Make brief notes here. The host then has points that they can make sure they mention,
while also not reading from the page directly causing a robotic sounding tone.)

[MID-ROLL JINGLE & ADS]

(If you have any longer sponsorship ads then play them mid-roll. By the midway point
most listeners are invested, so it’s a prime opportunity and more relevant for you and
your sponsor to promote goods or services.)

More on Topic OR Intro & Segue into Second Topic

● Mistakes: Radio you have to apologise if it was bad and just move on. Podcasts you can
edit the mistake out.
● Mass vs Niche: Podcasts = Niche appeal/ Radio = Mass appeal.
(More brief notes here on the topic you want to cover. Remember not to write fully
scripted lines to avoid sounding rigid or robotic.)

Sign Off & Call to Action

That’s all for this episode! Thanks for listening, and remember, if you want to support what we
do then share, subscribe, and leave a review over on iTunes. That’s all for now, but I’ll see you
in the next episode of the Podcast.co podcast.

[OUTRO JINGLE AND POST-ROLL ADS]

(Post-roll ads shouldn’t go on for too long as not many listeners will stick around until
the very end of the episode, so keep it short and to the point.)
