TECHNICAL DATA

J1800 Centrifugal Jig

The Kelsey Centrifugal Jig engineering concept comprises the application of all the parameters of a
conventional jig plus centrifugal force. Spinning the unit at a controlled speed results in:

ƒ Increased apparent gravitational fields

ƒ Increased apparent difference in specific gravity between minerals
ƒ Increased particle acceleration selectivity
ƒ Improved fine mineral recovery and separation efficiency

Design Features
ƒ Continuous production capability
ƒ High capacity to space requirement
ƒ Adaptability to feed variations
ƒ High mechanical availability
ƒ Automatic screen cleaning systems
ƒ Integrated lubrication system
ƒ Heavy duty rubber and ceramic lined construction
ƒ Inspection hatch
ƒ PLC control compliant

Applications
Titanium Minerals Tin
ƒ Heavy minerals from quartz ƒ Recovery of tin from grinding circuits
ƒ Zircon from kyanite or sillimanite ƒ Replacement of cassiterite flotation
ƒ Rutile and Zircon from non-magnetics ƒ Increasing final concentrate grade
ƒ Tin recovery from tailings
Iron Ore
ƒ Hematite from silica Gold
ƒ Hematite from manganese carbonates ƒ Alluvial gold recovery
ƒ Hematite from apatite ƒ Recovery of gold from grinding circuits
ƒ Treatment of leach feed
Nickel ƒ Processing of CIP tailings
ƒ Removal of magnesium silicates from flotation feed
ƒ Cleaning flotation concentrate
ƒ Scavenging cleaner flotation tailings
