Medium-Wave RF Preselector (P) : Runpnfctlollhenul

This document describes a medium-wave RF preselector circuit that can improve reception quality for AM radio receivers with poor sensitivity and selectivity in the medium-wave band. The circuit uses an RF coil (L1) and variable capacitor (CV) to match the antenna impedance to the receiver's antenna input according to the frequency of the tuned station. Connecting an antenna to the input of this preselector circuit before the receiver can provide a real increase in reception quality within the AM band by reducing interference from images, noise and heterodyne signals.
