Business Overview
The business that has been chosen to best fit in the compilation of this strategic plan is
Gounders Business Solutions. It is a new business, established not too long ago and is
becoming one of the best among its competitors in the market. Due to being still in the line of
growth, for a start Gounders Business Solutions will have a strategic plan designed for one
year.

Gounder business solution started its operations in 2017. The business is based at Tagitagi,
Tavua however most if its work is performed remotely. The director of the business is Mrs.
Sarojani Gounder and the Managing Director is Mr. Prashil Gounder. The business currently
consists of 5employees which includes a Human Resources officer, two CCTV technicians, a
supervisor and the Managing Director.

The business has successfully managed to be part of the CCTV installation business
community for the past 3 years. Gounders business solution specializes in supplying and
installing CCTV cameras, digital video recorders, network structured cabling and also
installation of attendance systems such as the biometrics, password, card swiping and many
more. Ever since the business has started it has dealt with some of the major companies,
telecommunications Fiji limited (TFL) as well as the Cope construction to name a few. The
business started off with only 2 employees at the beginning however with time business took
up pace and set out its wings in the market.

The business has a well-structured way to deal with their clients and are always there to
ensure that they provide the best. The company is continually bringing in more ways and
ideas to enhance the business future as technology keeps on upgrading and as such they are to
be there with the market trends. The business is always up-to-date with the facets of everyday
normality and ensures that they provide much attention to their clients and focus on details to
ensure business runs smoothly among two parties.

Gounders Business Solutions is undoubtedly going to be amongst the leading businesses in

Fiji in the near future. With the factors driven by the business to reach the right market and

that involves the installations of CCTV cameras, sales and installations of digital video
recorders, installation of Internet protocol CCTV cameras (both wireless and wires), sales and

business solution utilizes quality products in order to deliver its services and product to its
customers. This brands include; Dahua technology, HikVision, Vivotek and Unview. These
quality products enable the business to deliver the best quality products to its customers at a
timely manner.

Job Roles and Responsibilities
Gounders Company Solution is a small venture, hence we will only employ 5 people to carry
out certain roles suitable to their traits and qualities. We aim to hire people who possess
certain qualities such as honesty, hardworking, customer oriented, punctuality,enthusiasm,
and empathetic.

We are Gounders Company Solution will only hire graduates who are highly qualified and
have experience in the same field of installing technology or devices for the last 3 years.
Some of the positions that should be occupied include:

1. Managing Director- this individual will be responsible for directing and controlling all
operations that take place in the business. This individual will also be in charge of
giving out strategic guidance and direction to the company and its employees to
ensure that the company achieves all its short and long term goals, financial goals,
mission and vision. Other roles he/she will play include

Ø Signing agreements and deals

Ø Direct the organisation

Ø Strengthen Business Vision and Mission and communicate effectively

Ø Verify business writing and documents

2. Human Resource Manager - Since this individual will oversee all employment
relations of the business, he/ she will need to be a graduate of a Bachelor degree program and
have a working experience of more than 5 years. Some of the roles that the HR manager will
play in the organisation:

Ø Completion of administrative tasks and operations of HR

Ø Job positioning and assist in job interviewing

Ø Responsible for the induction process of new employees/ Look out for
employees' needs and grievances.

3. Information Technology Technician- There will be 2 individuals hired to take on this

very important role. They will need to be very familiar with working with electronic
equipment, internet applications and security. They will also need to have excellent
communication skills because they will frequently interact with the clients. They will be in
charge of the CCTV cameras installation, providing relevant information to our clients about
the devices installed in their homes and how they should be operated. Other roles include

ensure that they are free from anything that may endanger their safety and life
