The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), a premier Law University in India ranked No. I in Law
Category in the India Ranking 2018 by National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Government of India invites Applications for admission to the following Programmes through
Distance learning mode for the Academic year 2018-2019.
1. Two-year Master of Business Laws Programme (M.B.L)
2. One-year Post Graduate Diploma Programmes:
a) Human Rights Law (PGDHRL)
b) Medical Law & Ethics (PGDMLE)
c) Environmental Law (PGDEL)
d) Intellectual Property Rights Law (PGDIPRL)
e) Child Rights Law (PGDCRL)
f) Consumer Law & Practice (PGDCLP)
g) Cyber Law & Cyber Forensics (PGDCLCF)
Graduate of any discipline from a recognised University is eligible to apply.
Applications will be issued from 1st September, 2018 & can also be filled online or downloaded
from our website http:// ded.nls.ac.in
Physical applications to any of the above programmes may be obtained by writing to the Director, Distance
Education Department, National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru-560 072, along
with a Demand Draft of Rs.1,500/- drawn in favour of NLSIU DED Course, payable at Bengaluru.

CHECKLIST FOR SUBMISSION OF FILLED-IN APPLICATION FORMS
1. Attested copies of the certificates attested by any Gazetted Officer demonstrating academic qualifications
(Example: Degree Certificate/Pass Certificate issued by the Competent Authority or Convocation
Certificate).
In case degree certificate is not available or not issued by the university, a provisional passing certificate
issued by the University and attested copies of statement of marks of all the years of graduation should be
furnished.
In case of non submission of the required supporting documents, please note that your application will
be kept on hold and you are required to furnish the relevant documents within 31st October, 2018 failing
which the Application will be rejected and the course fee will be refunded after deducting 30% of the
amount towards processing charges.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. All payments shall be made only through the Demand Draft drawn in favour of NLSIU DED Courses,
payable at Bengaluru.
2. Last date for submitting duly filled-in application is 30th September, 2018 (without late fee) and 15th
Ocotber, 2018 (with late fee of Rs. 500/-)
3. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. after the last date of admission.
4. a) Candidate will not be permitted to withdraw from the course after admission.
b) The fee paid towards the course will not be refunded under any circumstances.

6. After enrollment you will be provided with an ID Number which shall be quoted in all your future

7. Change of Course is not permitted once the admission formalities are over.
8. As there would be over lapping in the Examination, Students enrolled for 2 courses simultaneously
are advised to choose any one of them in one examination and the other course in the next
examination (i.e. June or Dec / Jan as the case may be)
9. Contact Classes will be held at NLSIU, Bengaluru only and Attendance to contact Class is optional.
10. With respect to Foreign Degrees, candidate are required to produce equivalence certificate issued by
Association of Indian Universities.
