Binan is his worst or not but he sacrifice for his family so that he can support them even he experience
many things in Binan.
6. Think and discuss the following base on your own perceptions in three paragraphs.
A. Rizal first teacher was his mother her name is Dona Teodora Alonzo y Quintos, she was
the who taught him how to learn alphabet and reading, she even teaches him how to paint
and how to discipline and behave. She even teaches him how to speak Latin Spanish so if
he grow he won’t have a problem about speaking Spanish around the year of Spanish
tranny.

how smart he is. All the courses he finished was his average was always excellent he
never failed a single subject. His most achievement in his life was the medicine so can
heal his mother.

D. Jose’s first day scenario in Binan was no good because he always homesick and he lived
for his aunties where he rent for it and he even got bullied by the son of teacher that led to
his first brawl in schools.
7. List down Rizal’s Philosophies in life and explain the significant impact of each philosophies.
I. Educational Philosophy – for what Jose Rizal said about the Education philosophy is that
education could the country be save from domination. Yes of course education is the only way of
success for the nation without education there is no peace in opinion because education can only
bring peace to the country because we have the mind to made decision and we think for the better
country. Rizal’s concept of the importance of education is clearly enunciated in his work entitled
Instruction wherein he sought improvements in the schools and in the methods of teaching. He
maintained that the backwardness of his country during the Spanish ear was not due to the
Filipinos’ indifference, apathy or indolence as claimed by the rulers, but to the neglect of the
Spanish authorities in the islands. For Rizal, the mission of education is to elevate the country to
the highest seat of glory and to develop the people’s mentality. Since education is the foundation
of society and a prerequisite for social progress, Rizal claimed that only through education could
the country be saved from domination.
II. Religious Philosophy – In Rizal Philosophy about religion what he means about the use of the
Truth and Reason. Truth is telling your people what is truth and what they want to know because
that is the way of religion to keep the people earned their trust. Making the people ignorant,
destitute and fanatic, thus discouraging the formation of a national sentiment.
III. Rizal’s guiding political philosophy proved to be the study and application of reforms, the
extension of human rights, the training for self-government and the arousing of spirit of
discontent over oppression, brutality, inhumanity, sensitiveness and self-love.
IV. Political Philosophy – What Rizal’s views in politics is that he doesn’t want the country to have
slavery just how the Spanish government rule and they’re abuse of power. If we wanted to make a
better country we will distinguish political corruption. Because in the modern world every single
country as political corruption and abuses of power.
 the bondage and slavery of the conquered ;
 The Spanish government’s requirement of forced labor and force military service upon the n
natives;
 The abuse of power by means of exploitation;
V. Ethical Philosophy – The study of human behavior as to whether it is good or bad or whether it is
right or wrong is that science upon which Rizal’s ethical philosophy was based. The fact that the
Philippines was under Spanish domination during Rizal’s time led him to subordinate his
philosophy to moral problems. This trend was much more needed at that time because the
Spaniards and the Filipinos had different and sometimes conflicting morals. The moral status of
the Philippines during this period was one with a lack of freedom, one with predominance of
foreign masters, one with an imposition of foreign religious worship, devotion, homage and racial
habits. This led to moral confusion among the people, what with justice being stifled, limited or
curtailed and the people not enjoying any individual rights.

- What I experience in online classes is that it’s hard and everybody had a slow internet
connection. To be honest I preferred physical classes than online classes because I learned fast by
listening to discussion than sending context and I know it’s pandemic right but I wanted to learn more but
sacrifice is a must since it’s pandemic but right now it’s all good I can eventually get attached to online
classes for sure.

10. Describe Dr. Jose Rizal base on the previous topics we have discussed and try to mention
something in common between you or add more what you have.
- He easily learned at the very young age, he is smart person. A good writer poet and a doctor. He
wrote poetry and novels which are still taught in the Philippines as part of the educational curriculum. We
are similar in many ways, such as being a determined person, lovable and a person who knows how to
fight in different situation. He inspired me a lot, I salute him for what he did and fight. He inspires me to
be a good student and fight for my dreams no matter what.
