Course Length: 8 Hrs Course Description:

Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm This training will cover recommended practices


for using Autodesk® solutions for the MEP
engineering industry and associated workflows.
Designed For: Several workflows will be highlighted, including
mechanical, electrical and plumbing system
This course is designed for MEP Engineering students and design and documentation, energy analysis and
professionals simulation, and multidiscipline coordination.
These workflows will highlight the capabilities of
Learning Objectives: Autodesk® Revit, as well as Autodesk BIM 360
cloud based offerings and how they benefit
After completing this session you will be able to: mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers,
as well as energy analyst within the MEP
Describe the Value of BIM for MEP Engineering engineering industry segment.

Use Autodesk® solutions from the perspective of MEP Topics Covered:

Maximize the value add of the Autodesk® BIM 360 Collaboration across disciplines

Prerequisites: Heating and cooling load calculations
Mechanical Equipment
It is recommended that students have experience in the Duct and Pipe Systems
MEP engineering industry, as well as a working knowledge Duct Annotation
of Microsoft® Windows® 7 or 8. Electrical Design
