1. P2P Function & Features
1.1. P2P Function
P2P function is our own designed Private NAT Penetrate technology, there is no need
to apply the DNS, no need UPnP port mapping, you can easily remote access to the device
by scan the QR code, keep your eyes on baby/elder caring or shops monitoring, it will also
notify the user automatically by email or message when abnormality happens.

Mobile Application: Live viewing at any time, any place.
Easy management: Control many devices by one account.
2. P2P settings
2.1. Web setup
Step 1: Login device by web browser, choose [Main Menu] > [Network]> [Cloud], enter
“cloud” interface. See figure 1 as below.

Step 2: Tick “Enable”, Enable P2P function.
Step 3: Click “Save”.
2.2. DVR setup
Step 1: Enter DVR, choose [Main Menu] > [Network]> [Cloud], enter “cloud” interface.

Step 3: Click “Save”.
3. Mobile client operation
3.1. Login
Download and install application vEye on your mobile phone.
Method1: Scan the QR code from AHR/ DVR or see below pictures.

Method2: Please search vEye from Google Market/App store.
Click the logo vEye to start the program after mobile client software installed.
Users should register a User ID before login. Click “Register” to register a user account,
input Username, Password, Confirm Password and Email , then click “Register” to finish
the new user registration. See figure 5
Enter login system with username and password to login, see figure 6. “Try login free” is
another way to login ,but if you login in this way ,alarm is not supported and you can

only preview the device you have added in your mobile phone.

3.2. Devices
Add a device
Click on the top left corner of any interface, and then click the Devices button to enter
the device management interface ,click on the top right of the interface to add a device.
See as figure 7 and 8.

Device Type: P2P and IP address are for choice.
Alias: Create a nickname for the device.

Server Address: The default address is qvcloud.net .
Server Port: The default port is 8300.
Address: If the device type is IP, you have to input the IP address of the device.
Port: If the device type is IP, the default port is 5801, you can choose any port ranging from
0-65535.
Cloud ID: One way is to scan barcode , another way is to input cloud ID manually.
Username: The default name is admin, it also can be any username that you have added in
account management.
Password: The password of the user name , the default password of the admin is empty.
Channel Number: The default number is 8, 1/4/8/16/32 channel are optional for you to
choice.
Live Preview: Sub stream and main stream are selectable .
Click button to save all the configurations.
Delete a device
Android system: Select a device and long press it to activate the deletion window. Click OK
button to delete the selected device.
Iphone system: Select a device and slide to left to activate the deletion window. Click Ok
button to delete the selected device.
3.3. Live View

1. Click the icon in the center of the window to select a camera from the devices list .

2. You can also get the live view for the whole group to display the live view of the cameras in
the group in the Device list. Click and click on the group name which including all
the cameras , and then click the Start Live View bottom , see the following figure.

Click icon on the bottom toolbar of Live View , A prompt box will be displayed to notify
you if the capture is done , which says Photo has saved in /storage/emulated/0/vEye/image/. Click
Picture&Video on the main menu , all the pictures captured on the remote client are stored here
PTZ control
For the PTZ control, click the icon on the toolbar on the screen for each camera, there will be 8
directions such as Upper Left ,Up, Upper Right, Left, Right, Lower Right, Down, Lower and
Right ,the PTZ will move toward the direction of your fingers sliding. PTZ steps range from 1 to 8,
the greater the number ,the faster PTZ move.

Audio
You can enable audio on only one channel at one time.
Recoding
Recording function allows you to record the live video in the live View mode. Please follow

the steps to start recording:
1. Select a channel in the group and click it to view the live video.
2. Then click button in the live view interface to start to record the live video.
3. When you wish to stop recording , please re-click button to finish recording. A
prompt box will pop up if all the operations succeed, which says Record is saved in storage
emulated /0/vEye/video/.
Click and the selected window will be display in 1-division mode. Spread two
fingers apart to zoom in or pinch them together to zoom out the live view.
3.4. Remote Playback

Digital Zoom
The remote client can search the record files on the DVR/AHR/NVR.
1.Click Remote Playback button on the main menu to enter the Remote Playback
configuration interface.
2.Click in windows to select a device , set the time and type as the search condition,
there are 4 types for choice ,such as Schedule , Manual ,Motion Detect and all.
3.Click Start Playback to start playback .
4.In the Remote Playback interface , you can slide the timeline bar to adjust the playback
time .The timeline indicates the time duration for the record file. See the follow figure
5.You can click to stop the playback.

3.5. Alarm
Click Alarm button to enter the Alarm configuration interface ,click button and set
alarm type for each channel, there are 3 different alarm types, such as Motion Detect ,
Video Mask, and Video Lost. Enable the function of push , the alarm information can be
pushed to your cellphone once an alarm is triggered.
Click button to enter search interface, select the device , set start-stop time and
type you want to search ,and then click search button.
Each alarm log has shown the related alarm information, including alarm time, alarm
source and alarm type.
You can select a piece of alarm information and long press it to activate the deletion
window. Click OK to delete the selected alarm information .Click button on the top
right corner to delete all the alarm log.
3.6. Picture & Video
In Picture&Video management interface, you can view and manage the local video files and
pictures that you manually record and capture in Live View and Remote Playback interface.
Click and then you can select any picture or video by manually, if you want to select
all the pictures and videos, you can click button .
Click and select the needed application to share.

Click to delete the pictures and videos you have selected .
Picture management: Click a picture and the picture displays in full screen. You can
click if you want to delete it, and click to share it to other applications. You can
pinch two fingers together to zoom out or spread them apart to zoom in the picture. Or
you can double-click on the picture to realize digital zoom.
Video management: Click a video and the video shows in full screen. Click if you
want to delete it, and click to share it to other applications. Click to play it, click
to take a picture,click to pause the playback.
3.7. Configuration
Password Protection: Enable the function of Password Protection, input the password
and confirm password, click on the top right corner of the interface to save the
configuration, click Modify password button to modify the password .
PTZ Steps can be changed to any number ranging from 1 to 8, the greater the number,
the faster PTZ move.
Alarm setting: There are “Do not disturb” , ”Alarm Vibration” , ”Alarm Sound” for
choice .

3.8. Logout
Click Logout to exit client software.
4. Web client operation
Step 1: Make sure that the device can access to Internet, entering the URL:
http://qveye.net. For the first visit, please click to download the plug-ins. See
below picture.

Step 2: Choose By Device to login, input device ID, username and password to connect
the device. (Check the Device ID in figure 1 or figure 2).
Step 3: You can also login By User, which you need to register your user name and
password first.
Step 4: Click login to enter cloud service interface as below:.
