SUBJECT: Spot Report on (Violation of R.A 8353) RAPE CASE

1) Reference: Blotter Batangas City Police Station dated April 4, 2020
2) At about 7:00 pm of April 4, 2020 a rape was reported in our office by patrol officers on duty PO1 Jocelyn
Pitahin and PO2 Archie Magpantay at brgy. Alangilan Batangas City. At the same time and date while the officers
patrolling along the road of mega heights suddenly they saw a girl running towards to the other side of the road
and almost hit by a patrol car but as an instinct PO2 aarchie immediately break, they go out and ask the girl if
she is okay and why she is running at first she cant talk because of shock but a couple of minute she tell the
whole story what really happen to her.
3) Initial investigation disclosed that around 6:30 pm in a unhabited place in mega heights subdivision , the
witness with her company shane baustista single 23 years old and a resident of mega heights subdivision are
heading home when she hear a pleasing voice that ask for help .she was about to help the girl but when she saw
the man handed a gun pointed to the head of the girl and said “tatahimik ka at susundin mo ang gusto ko o
ipuputok ko ito sa ulo mo , she take back and hide when she saw the boy shock shown on her because it was her
neighbourhood RENIEL MARANAN24 years old single and also a resident of mega heights and also the girl is
named by ANGELI DE CASTRO 21 years old and also resident of mega heights. After 1 hour she saw the girl
running towards to the outside of the subdivision and also the man running at the back of the girl .

2) Batangas City Police Station led by PO1 JOCELYN PITAHIN and PO2 ARCHEI MAGPANTAY
conducted the arrest that eventually to the apprehension of RENEIL MARANAN 24 years old it is
according to the witness that he was the one who raped her neighbourhood and also the statement of
the victim. The suspect immediately proceed to the custody of the BCPS and returned the warrant of
arrest to the Regional Trial Court Branch 1 of Batangas city

2) The case was filed against Mr. RANEIL MARANAN single 24 years old and a resident
of mega heights subdivision Alangilan city of Batangas in Regional Trial Court Branch 1
City of Batangas . the accused was transferred to the provincial jail in capitol city of
batangas while waiting for the trial

That on or about 2200h 31 March 2020 Ms. Jean is busy watching kdrama to her
cellphone whle sitting to the couch, after a minute there is notification that pop up at first
she ignore it and a second time around there is notification again out of frustration , she
open it and she was shock when she saw the picture of her while hugging his teacher
and there is a caption “the student of a famous school and his teacher secretly dating”,
out of anger because of false accusation. She go to the account of the one who post the
picture but there is no information in the account , then she think the person who can
help to her then she call it if he can find even a little info. To that unknown account. While
waiting she scroll to down and she cried seeing all the post about her that there is no
evidence if its true. After an hour his friend call her and it said ‘it was your friend lyca ‘
then she go out and confront her friend about the false information that she post to the
facebook but she deny it . she tell to her friend that his teacher is her uncle that’s why
she’s very close to the teacher and said she will file a case because there is a possible
that they reputation will ruin.
