Rubber Mountings
•These rubber mountings are known for

Rectangular Rubber Mountings

• Rectangular is also called as Sandwich


Mountings.
• These are widely used in sensitive
electronic equipments for eliminating the
vibrations and also in sound chambers,
hopper & heavy installations carriage for
shock absorptions..
•  These are designed with following options:
• With stud on one side and two hole at
another side with rubber in middle
• With one interleaf of metal insert
• No stud, top plate same as bottom
• With one interleaf of metal insert
Cylindrical Mount
• Features: 
• Dimensionally accurate
• Excellent transparency
• Optimum strength
Vibration Absorber Mounts
• It is designed to absorb heavy vibration and
further it is oil resistant.
• Owing to the high internal isolating properties,
these are used in air-compressors and
generators..

Pump Vibration Isolation System
•To reduce the vibration of a pump, it is
necessary to consider the vibration-proof
pedestal, the rubber flexible joints, and the
fixing support of piping with flexible joints, as
one system.

•The vibration generated by equipment such


as a pump is caused by the vibration of the
pump body and pulsation due to pressure
fluctuation inside the pipe. 
• The vibration caused by the machine body
can be isolated using the vibration-proof
pedestal and the rubber flexible joints.

• Vibration isolators (e.g. springs, vibration-


proof rubber, suspension hangers, and
vibration-proof joints) are functional
materials.
